As a part of the Community branch at Wildrence, Immersive Labs was set up as a series of classes, symposiums, and public events that centered around providing valuable tools and information to the community. The first part of the series was Acting In Immersive, a 2 day workshop for actors and directors of the immersive genre, lead by Aaron Salazar.

This one of a kind site-specific, hands-on workshop & performance experience, builds on proscenium techniques and reshaping those skills to hone the skills needed to take your acting technique to the next level for Immersive Theatre. 

Through the power of original scene work combined with lights, sound, and music, participants will be able to immediately apply immersive and interactive methodology. Actors will focus on techniques that harness their full instrument and skill set as an artist. Finding the extents of creative expression through movement and contact with the audience, this visceral learning experience is a must-have for any person acting professionally in the ever-growing immersive & experimental theatre genre.
